The Wireless# (wireless sharp) certification is the entry-level wireless certification for the IT industry.

Your Wireless# certification will get you started in your IT career by ensuring you have a solid base of applicable knowledge of the following technologies:

Technical Support Analyst - Perform troubleshooting, provide facilitation and customer service, and support end users of wireless products. Provide technical support to customers via telephone and in person regarding hardware, installation, and other systems issues.

Retail Computer Technician - Understand the various wireless hardware components, their differences, functions and uses, advantages and disadvantages. Recommend selections that meet the customer's needs, and emphasize selling points of items such as quality, utility, versatility, etc.

Network Support Technician - Installation of various wireless technology products. Assist in the decision process regarding appropriate equipment for each wireless technology, according to the desired application of that technology. Implement basic security of SOHO wireless installations.

IT Management- Assist with the management of a project-based work effort. Based upon well-defined policies and procedures, may assist with the planning, directing, monitoring, adjusting and controlling of projects. Identify issues of scope, resource availability, resource expertise, budget constraints and deadlines.
